I don’t know about you people, but I use Amazon a lot. I’m kind of lazy that way. More specifically, I use Amazon Smile. They send a bit of money to a charity of your choice every time you buy something, and it doesn’t cost you a dime. I suggest my choice, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but it’s just a suggestion. Just put Amazon Smile into a search engine, and sign in.

I rock smile prime wounded warrior project as well. I’d like to think with the number of Amazon orders I’ve placed and money I’ve spent that someone’s life has genuinely benefited

I rarely use Amazon as I can find it cheaper on eBay in the U.K. and cheaper postage too.

Other than ordering direct from the manufacturer I almost only use eBay.

Honestly, I’ve never heard of it, but for my next order I will definitely check it out! And absolutely Wounded Warrior Project! I love that organization!

Anything that helps the people that were injured is important to do.

Here Amazon often offers better deals than a store. They just started a service where they’ll deliver certain items the same day. I have not taken that bait.

I’ve not had bad service as such from Amazon (the odd late delivery from time to time) but the postage is usually quite a bit higher than eBay with eBay having everything I need for a price I want to pay with some street companies having an outlet or eBay presence at cheaper than street prices.

I’ve been using Amazon smile as well. There’s a good add-on that you can install in Firefox (I’m sure it’s available in Chrome as well) that automatically redirects every single amazon link to the smile.amazon page.

My personal choice the last year or so has been the EFF.

I have used smile for quite a while, I wish I there was a way to see how much Amazon donated in total from all your purchases. But, I donate to a local animal shelter. I encourage others to donate to their local animal shelters as well, they can always use more donations.

Don’t know if you have it, but I have Amazon Prime - you pay maybe $89 a year and the postage on many items is free. Plus you get certain movies and TV shows for free. With all the stuff we order, it’s totally worth it.

A few times a year I send a case of cat food to the foster where we got Yoda and Vader. I should give to animal shelters as well.

I tried Amazon Prime and only used it three times in the month. Many things on eBay U.K. have free postage anyway.

I’ve got SkyGo, BBC iPlayer (as well as the others 4oD, ITV player, Demand5), YouTube and NetFlix.

Your system for TV is so different than ours. The BBC has such a deep bench for detective and other shows.

So true. The U.S. has so many channels while till quite recently the U.K. only had five terrestrial channels.

ITV gives the BBC a run for its money though. The detective shows are pretty good.

With Blue Murder, DCI Banks, Vera and Endeavour along with the old Inspector Frost, Inspector Morse, Lewis, Wycliffe, Foyle’s War, etc...

The BBC really excels with documentaries on virtually any and all subjects from ancient Egypt to modern day life on a death row prison. The comedies are pretty good also.

And it’s so cool that they have Thaw’s daughter in Endeavour. Damn I love those shows.

I’m quite into Vera (the programme not her, not that there’s anything wrong with her), its a more British pace of things, you know the old saying ‘slowly slowly catch a monkey’ rather than fast paced with flash backs, etc...

Though if you like crime programmes and tuned to British comedy, you have to watch a Touch of Cloth 1,2 and 3. There a funny take on how British crime shows are shown.

Tinker Tailor (the TV series and the 2012 movie) and Smiley’s People (w/ Sir Alec) are slowly paced, and they are all better off for it. I have blurays for all of them. How I love that series.
